The Western Kentucky Ecumenical Cursillo is open to all adults, men, and women, single and married, laity and clergy. Christians of any denomination are welcome.
Cursillo is for the development of Christian leaders who:
- Are members of a local church.
- Have the desire to strengthen their spiritual lives.
- May have unanswered questions about their faith.
- Understand that being a Christian involves responsibility.
- Are willing to dedicate their everyday lives to God in an ongoing manner.
WHY MAKE A CURSILLO?
People make a Cursillo for a variety of different reasons:
- To learn how to communicate the Good News that God, in Jesus Christ, Loves us through friendships.
- To enrich his/her daily spiritual life.
- To learn more about the mission of the Church and how he/she can contribute as a layperson.
- To enable themselves to extend their spiritual practices and beliefs and apply them daily.
- To learn not about "preaching" the Good News but how to become the Good News to naturally witness in our daily lives at work, home, and social life.
- To forge friendships with others who have the same goal of improving the way you live as a Christian in every aspect of your life.
- To enable yourself to develop into a strong leader within your own church.
