The objective of Cursillo is to develop Christian leaders in the local church for Christian action in their homes, churches, communities, and places of work. Cursillo helps provide a way for our grace-filled lives to be lived and shared with others.
The Cursillo Movement was born in the church: it grows and develops, nourished by the wisdom of the church; it serves the church and must always have as its ultimate goal, TO BUILD UP THE CHURCH.
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And you shall renew the face of the earth. O God, Who by the light of the Holy Spirit did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit, we may be truly wise and ever enjoy your consolations. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
