The Cursillo is an experience of Christian spiritual renewal and formation that begins with a three-day short course in Christianity. You will join other participants, along with a team of servant leaders, to step away from the distractions of the world and into the Lord’s Presence. With a spirit of idealism, dedication, and love you can meet Jesus Christ in a new way as God’s grace and love are revealed further through the Sacraments, prayers, and sacrifices of other believers. 

The Cursillo experience begins with prayerful discernment and an invitation from a sponsor.  After accepting this invitation, one completes an application.  The Cursillo leaders prayerfully consider each applicant, and in God’s time, the person is invited to attend.

Cursillo weekends begin on a Thursday evening and conclude late Sunday afternoon. Following the three-day experience, participants are joined in small groups to support each other in their ongoing walk with Christ.

Our desire is that each participant’s individual gifts and servant-leadership skills are developed further for use in the local church and its mission.  Participants are encouraged to find ways to live out their individual call to discipleship in their homes, church, and community.
